John will be the first to say he was never a fitness person.


His morning routine used to be a stop at Greggs for two sausage rolls and a can of Red Bull — quick fuel to cope with a busy job, long days, and the demands of being a parent. Training didn’t fit into his identity, his routine, or his lifestyle.

But over time, he realised how much his physical health was affecting his mental health.
