It didn’t take long for those worries to disappear.
From the very first sessions, Harrison found an environment that was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. Every session felt different. Every session was fun. And before long, he’d built strong friendships and connections with people who were all working towards their own goals.
What started as a way to get back into training quickly became much more than that.
Since joining CTPT, Harrison has regained a sense of focus and purpose in his training. He feels more confident in himself, no longer worries about things like shirt sizes, and has been able to return to sport with the confidence to push and challenge himself again.
Physically, he's noticed huge improvements too.
The knee pain that had been holding him back has gone, allowing him to move more freely and enjoy being active again.
But perhaps the biggest surprise has been the change in his mindset.
The consistency, the routine, the community, and the progress have all helped shift the way he thinks about himself and what he's capable of achieving.
“Fun. Confidence. Focus.”
“I was worried about whether I'd fit in and how training would work around my job as a teacher. But from day one, everyone was really welcoming. Every session is fun, and I've made some great friendships along the way. I've found a focus again, I'm more confident in myself, I'm not worrying about shirt sizes anymore, and the knee pain I used to have has completely gone. The biggest surprise for me has probably been how much my mentality has changed. I feel more positive, more confident, and able to challenge myself in sport again.”
