On top of that, Jason had a long-term back injury that had been hanging over him for years. As a police officer, staying fit isn’t just a “nice to have” either, it’s part of his job. But the fear of aggravating his back meant he’d always been cautious, always second guessing what he could and couldn’t do, and always one wrong session away from another setback.
Since joining CTPT, those worries have completely disappeared.
Jason found a gym that is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and supportive, where any gym anxiety is put to rest within the first session. He loves that he’s encouraged to push outside his comfort zone, but never in a reckless way. Every session is coached, adjusted, and kept within his limits so he can train hard without aggravating old injuries.
He’s fitter, stronger, moving better, and noticing the difference in day to day life and work, doing things now that he couldn’t manage a few years ago.
CTPT has become part of his routine, dropping his daughter to school and heading into the gym to train, see familiar faces, and catch up with friends. What started as nerves about walking into a new environment has turned into something he genuinely looks forward to.
With retirement on the horizon, Jason’s now excited about the future, staying active, hiking, travelling, and actually enjoying the lifestyle his fitness is giving him.
“PAIN FREE. FITTER. PART OF THE COMMUNITY.”
“Before CTPT I was worried about walking into a gym where I didn’t know anyone, and I was anxious about my back injury getting worse. But the environment here is completely different, it’s friendly, welcoming, and you’re pushed in the right way without risking injury. I’ve been pain free for over two and a half years, I’m fitter in day to day life and work, and CTPT has just become part of my routine now. I genuinely look forward to coming in. If you’ve ever felt nervous about joining a gym or worried about injuries, this is the place you need.”
